Introduction:

The task I have chosen to do is to make a teaser trailer; I will be looking at existing teaser trailers to see how effective they are at grabbing an audience’s attention without giving away any significant storyline and how the lack of information given actually makes the audience more interested in wanting to watch the actual production. I will be looking at different genres of teaser trailers to see how they differ from each other whilst at the same time use the same techniques throughout. I will also be looking at just how teaser trailers and film trailers differ from one and other as well as how other forms of advertising help to also promote the main text, I will then use all of this information to design and produce my own pieces of ancillary text to go along with my teaser trailer.
